I am all about transparency with my Clients and like to ensure you’re aware of the in’s, out’s and the process of working with me as your Designer. I have implemented some guidelines to ensure that both you as my valued Client, and myself enjoy the Design process.

Do you do Social Media Management or Facebook Advertising?

No.

Providing this service is a full-time job within its self and unfortunately don’t have the time allocations to provide this, however I have two really great Gold Coast businesses who I am happy to refer you too, for anything Social Media or Digital Marketing.

If you require any digital design elements including Instagram or Facebook Artwork, I can happily provide a quotation for this.

Will you write my Website Copy?

No, however I can refer you to an amazing Agency called Wordfetti who are amazing at all things ‘wordy’. They can assist you to create your content for your Brand or Website.

Do you Print my Business Cards/Flyers for me?

If you are 100% certain of the type & thickness of your business cards/collateral, then Yes I can. I have a partnership with Foyer Printing on the Gold Coast who provide excellent print services (and rates!) for my clients. In this instance, you’ll receive an invoice for Printing Services which is paid to Zanzera Creative. We will then arrange your printing and have your collateral delivered to your preferred address.

If you are unsure what you want in terms of paper-stock, fancy finishes or anything else, then I would supply you with your print files and it will be your responsibility to arrange printing. I’m happy to recommend some fantastic printers both on the Gold Coast and surrounds.

What if I'm not happy with Logo Design after 3 rounds of refinements?

I’ll answer this in two points.

– I have no doubt that you’ll love the Logo Designs I create, however if you require further refinements/changes, these will be charge at $40 per hour.

– To ensure that we are both on the same page for the Design of your Logo or your website, it is very important for you to have a rough understanding of colour choices, font style choices (I help with this!) & who your demographic is. It is also equally important to then provide these details in the Design Questionnaire sent to you prior to Design getting underway ( in detail if possible). I have many skills but reading minds or trying to interpret what your dream Logo is from little or no feedback is unfortunately something all designers lack (but wish they had!).

– If you stuggle to communicate what you envisage, then providing Pinterest Boards, or Inspo images OR even a scribbled down sketch of ideas is better than nothing at all and don’t worry, I’m no illustrator so I wont be judging your sketches, if anything I’ll be thanking you for your help in creating something fantastic; together!

When is the remainder of my Invoice payable?

Upon launch of your Website / upon delivery of your Design Files OR within 3 months of initial deposit paid, regardless of whether the site has been launched / project has been completed.

To give an example of this and why this is required – Upon beginning a project the 50% deposit is required, this covers things like my time to begin project, any resources or additional staff (developers) that I need to hire. Unfortunately, sometimes projects can then drag on from the side of the client by way of indecision, change of owner, many other unforeseen circumstances. At this point however, after three months, the project is at 90% completion yet still cannot be launched. This is why the remainder would be due when the 3 months ticks over, to ensure that I can recover any expenses I have had as the designer in bringing the project to near completion.

This is why it is imperative that as a Design Client, you are organised and prepared to begin your project.

When I book on an hourly Contract basis, do you charge me for Phone Calls?

What deposit do you require?

A deposit of 50% of the quoted price is required before any work will begin on projects. For any Contract Hours, the total amount (minimum of 5 Hours) is required to be paid in full before work begins

Is the deposit refundable?

No. A deposit is my way of securing your project within my calendar and ensures you as the client are serious about moving ahead with your project.

Can you create a Logo, Brand, Website TODAY?

How do i define a ‘rush job’: anything request that has an expectation that it will get done quicker that my standard turn around times, an request that requires me to work over the weekend or requires me to reschedule or push back other clients work

Short answer, No.

Ordinarily I book out weeks and sometimes months in advance, and like to run my projects to a schedule, so if are needing designs asap, unfortunately I am not your best option – Good Design Takes Time. To push back projects that have already had time allocations and deposits paid, to allow me to squeeze in your rush job wouldn’t be showing my existing clients the respect they deserve. In some cases,

In some cases, I can make allowances for existing clients where the changes are small* (change text, update an image, resend existing files etc).

If the changes are of large scale (redoing a Logo in different format, colour and resaving files in different formats, updating entire page/s of content, updating collections or navigation) then I cannot promise my availability, and I’ll need to assess on a case-by-case basis.

I will always try my best to get your changes/projects for you, but organisation on your behalf is key, so please keep this in mind.

RUSH FEE – If you are desperate to have files/changes made to existing designs (or need something new created) same-day or within 72 hour timeframe, which requires me to push back pre-booked projects the following fees will apply:

additional $50 rush fee will be applied to your invoices (you will be advised of this charge upon booking in your project).

If it is a large scale change/project, 45% of the total invoice will be added to your invoice ie. your website needs Terms & Conditions page added and the cost ordinarily is $299, then the total price to have the page added, within 72 hours is $433.55 plus gst.

Do you do SEO (Search Engine Optimzation)?

I complete basic SEO on your website based on the written content that you provide. I also submit your site to Google Webmaster so it can be indexed by Google. I will require a gmail email address to then transfer over the ownership of the Webmaster account once the site is live. If SEO strategy is something you require, then I can recommend someone to advise you on further SEO strategy once site is live.
